I
confess, I'm a happy-ever-after junkie, which is why I read and
write romances. Unfortunately, I have a split-personality as an
author. At times I'm compelled to write steamy family relationship
dramedies that I hope will tug at your heartstrings and make you
laugh . . . and, yes, these stories are have a high sensuality
level, too. At other times my alter-ego is inspired by a more
provocative, humorous premise with a stronger emphasis on the hero
and heroine's physical relationship. The heat level in my L.L.
Kellogg books is comparable to what you might find in a Harlequin®
Blaze, however my novels have bigger plots with slightly edgier
storylines.
If you
haven't read any of my work, I suggest starting with one of my
Laurie Kellogg stories. Then if you think you might like something a
little racier, try one of my L.L. Kellogg books.
I've won the
GOLDEN HEART® award, not just once,
but twice. This is the highest honor an unpublished author
can receive from
Romance Writers of America®.
(see
photos). My work
also won
Pacific Northwest Writers Association’s®
Zola Award and was a
Romantic
Times®
American Title I finalist.
Wherever my muse might lead me, my
main goal as an author is to entertain readers, whether it's through
comical situations or simply with witty dialogue I hope will make
them smile.
So, if you're as crazy
about steamy, poignant stories, sassy dialogue, and romantic
characters with dark secrets as I am, read one of my books, and let
me know how you liked it. Thanks for stopping by.
